These attractive La Pavoni grinders feature brass color cases to match your espresso machines. La Pavoni PGB grinders operate two ways. For daily serving applications grind directly into your portafilter or for larger amounts of coffee grind directly into the removable hopper. Features: Tempered steel burr grinders. brass finish. 9 settings from coarse to fine. 1/4 lb. hopper capacity. Automatic shut-off. Measures 9 ½" high weight 8 lbs. Volt 110 One year warranty. La Pavoni PGB Coffee Grinder, Brass Specifications
Italy's La Pavoni invokes a bygone era with this handsome machine. The hard-plastic hoppers and spout are sepia-toned, like old photographs of dignified men and women relaxing on a Ravello terrace, and burnished brass houses the grinder's electric motor. Good looks, however, don't overshadow the grinder's performance in delivering fresh, full-flavored ground coffee. First, pour up to 8 ounces of whole beans into the top hopper. Then turn a knob on the side to adjust grind from fine to coarse through nine finely calibrated settings. Press a button on the side, and coffee ground to your personal specifications spills into the removable front hopper. For grinding directly into a pot, remove the front hopper, place the pot beneath the spout, and press upward against a lever to activate the grinder. A quick cleanup with a brush that's included and the grinder awaits the next day. --Fred Brack
